A middle-aged man wakes up in his mind, alone in a world where he has no feelings, the ability to talk or even move, but can think quite clearly. Being alone in this world, where all he has are his memories to keep him company, along with the occasional incoherent mumbling of distant voices, he reflects on his life, and wonders if he’s in a coma like he was, as a teenager, or maybe he’s in purgatory. A place of temporary punishment until his sins are purified, before going to heaven or hell. One thing he’s assured of, is that he’s all alone in the waiting room.

Wanted to write my own variation of saluting all the military troops, past, and present, who not only died heroically for our country, but whose remains were never identified. It's a story written by a soldier in the trenches of France, who keeps a journal, as promised to his Mom, of fighting the war to end all wars. WWI. Although a work of fiction, it memorializes and honors all of those who died fighting for all of our freedoms, and their remains have never been identified, but they'll never be forgotten!

This image for the story is actually a picture of our new puppy, Kolbe, a Giant Alaskan Malamute, after we brought him home from the breeder, when we lived in Illinois. He grew to almost 170 lbs. before he was killed tragically by a train, chasing a fox. He was just an awesome dog, and so I wanted to write about a Malamute who becomes the newest member of a family, as told by him, and by the Dad, a little boy and his Mom.
My best friend passed away over a year ago, and it hit everybody who knew him extremely hard. He had just been elected and sworn-in as alderman, on the city council, in his home town, and would have been an incredible attribute to the council. Anyone who's had the pleasure of knowing him, will treasure their memories of him forever, so I wanted to pay tribute to Eddy, by sharing some of those memories, only he and I had together growing up. you know, the memories we each have that inspire our lives today, when we reflect on them.

Philidendrum
As told in his own words, a cursed werewolf reflects on his past from becoming one of the most powerful werewolves in history and building his reign in medieval Europe during the Bubonic Plague, to battling for supremacy over the man-wolf species.
Those who are bitten by a werewolf, and become werewolves themselves have no memories of any atrocities towards mankind they commit under the spell of the lunar moon cycle, but those who are cursed, never forget anything, no matter how painful the memories are.

A story told by an ancient dark soulless parasite, drinker of life, the embodiment of evil in all its forms.
A vampire! Stalking the living, for over 600 years, this predator of mankind is also cursed by the guilt of the bloody carnage it leaves in its wake, as it roams the earth never completely fulfilling its thirst. As with all the vampires in the stories written about them, their existence is terminated by the sunlight, or a stake through their lifeless heart, but then what? Does their existence end?
